The Pakistani diplomatic mission in Spain unnecessarily delayed the verification of fingerprints as the Pakistani family who were blazed to death in the Barcelona fire could not be buried yet, reported 24NewsHD TV on Saturday.
According to the sources, fingerprints have not been verified in accordance with local law.
According to the Spanish authorities, the dead bodies were allowed to be taken to Pakistan only after being protected through chemicals.
The head of the family of the deceased, Ansar Iqbal, belonged to Mandi Bahauddin. While Ansar Iqbal's wife hailed from Romania.
Ansar Iqbal's two children also died in the accident.
