Two terrorists dead in Bannu gunbattle with CTD team

Two terrorists were killed in a gunbattle with a raiding team of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in Bannu region late Friday night, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
On a tip-off, the CTD raiding party carried out an intelligence-based operation on Amirwanda Road within limits of Lakki Police Station.
The terrorists suddenly opened fire on the raiding team’s personnel who also retaliated fiercely, killing the two terrorists.
The CTD team also seized two Kalashnikovs, six magazines, large number of cartridges, two identity cards, cash, a sack full of explosive material and other equipment from the hideout of the dead terrorists.
