Sahibzada Sultan wins Thar Desert Jeep Rally

Renowned racer Sahibzada Sultan won the Thar Flood Jeep Rally 2023 which concluded in the Mithi area of Sindh with all of its festivities, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
He covered the distance of 108km in 1 hour 15 minutes and 21 seconds to top the table in A- category while Shiraz Qureshi stood second with the timing of 1 hour 16 minutes and 55 seconds. Sheharyar Khan grabbed the third position covering the distance in 1 hour 17 minutes and 24 seconds.
In the B category, Bilal Chaudhary stood first while Aqeel Ahmed grabbed the second position and Nawaz Dasti took the third position.
In the women’s category, Maham Shiraz secured the first position. She completed the stipulated distance in one hour, 24 minutes and 28 seconds.
The Tharparkar jeep rally was organised to support the people who were affected by the flood in the second half of the last year in Sindh and Balochistan. Well-known rally drivers of the country took part in the event.
The camel race, horse race and the cultural sport of Sindh--Malakhara were also held on the occasion. Lala Rahim Pathan won the first position in the Malakhara while Kashif Bajeer was the first in the marathon race. On the other hand, Anwar Hajjam won the camel race. The closing ceremony of the fair was held at the Benazir Complex Mithi. Sindh Sports Advisor Arbab Lutfullah, Dr. Mahesh Kumar Malani, Mukesh Kamal Chawla, and other guests participated in the closing ceremony and distributed prizes and trophies among the winners.
