Education plays a key role in success, we all believe but for some, it proved just an old ‘narration’, particularly, during the ongoing era, where the talent roars only and paves ways for highest opportunities. If you don’t trust just witness yourself during the entertainment Industry containing the highest-paid personalities who even represent the country very well across the globe but are not highly educated for the reasons best known to them.
Let us take a look at some popular Pakistani celebs who could not complete their education.
Mahira Khan: Pakistani superstar Mahira Khan who started her career as a VJ in 2006, has attended Foundation Public School, where she completed her O-Levels at the age of 17. Later she moved to California for higher education, where she attended Santa Monica College. She then enrolled at the University of Southern California for her bachelor's degree. However, she did not complete her undergraduate degree and returned to Pakistan in 2008. During her studies in the United States, she was a cashier at a Rite Aid store in Los Angeles.
Khan met Ali Askari in 2006 in Los Angeles and married him in 2007 in a traditional Islamic wedding ceremony despite Khan's father being reportedly against the marriage. They have a son, born in 2009. The couple got divorced in 2015. Khan then married businessman Salim Karim in an intimate ceremony on 2 October 2023 in Bhurban.
Sajal Aly: Another Big face in Pakistan's showbiz industry, Sajal Aly who is actually a phenomenal star acquiring fame for her remarkable acting powers, also considered the highest-paid actress in the country, performed her schooling at Lahore Grammar School. Later, got her first break, and then decided to pursue acting and did not attend a university or college.
Fahad Mustafa: Fahad Salahuddin, popularly known as Fahad Mustafa,popular Pakistani actor, producer, and successful host, after completing his schooling enrolled himself at Baqal Medical University to pursue a degree in pharmacy which he did not complete, and dropped out in his third year. Once in an interview, Fahad revealed the reason behind the same and stated that he didn’t want to do a regular job.
Qurat-ul-Ain Balouch: Celebrated Pakistani singer, Qurat-ul-Ain Balouch (QB) did her early education at Kehkashan Army Public School, Multan and later did her FSC in Pakistan. She then enrolled in George Mason University, Fairfax, Virginia but later dropped out of the university. After leaving her graduation, QB went on to make a name for herself in the Pakistani music industry.
Iqra Aziz: Popularly known as 'Chanda' from Suno Chanda, Pakistani actress, Iqra Aziz entered the glamour world quite early, but she could not complete her education. After her school, Iqra enrolled herself in Bachelors of Commerce Degree from the University of Karachi but could not finish it.
Neelam Munir: Pakistani model and actress, Neelam Muneer began modeling when she was in school. However, after entering showbiz, Neelam could not continue her studies and later did her graduation privately. Neelam is currently one of the sought-after actresses of the Pakistani entertainment world.
Aiman Khan: Aiman Khan, one of the most followed actresses on social media, completed her schooling in Karachi, and entered in showbiz. She later enrolled in a college for higher education, but could not complete it.
