Murree moot: Nawaz asks senators to make PML-N stronger

The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz senators met in Murree, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Friday.
According to sources, PML-N President Nawaz Sharif directed the lawmakers to take up public problems in the parliament.
He asked the legislators to step up efforts to PML-N stronger, they said, adding that Nawaz was briefed on the policy of joint efforts for the sake of the country
The insiders cited Nawaz as saying the PML-N shunned political differences and joined hands with the political forces to put the country back on track.
The sources said Nawaz Sharif mentioned PTI founder Imran Khan in his speech and described him as a person who went for political persecution.
They cited Nawaz saying: “Believe me, I never even thought of taking revenge on him. I've never cared about what facilities he has [in jail]."
The sources said he welcomed Shahid Khaqan Abbasi's sister Sadia Abbasi to the meeting and paid tribute to her for her struggle.
“I remember when Shahid Khaqan and I were in jail, Sadia Abbasi used to serve us in the morning and evening. Sadia Abbasi got through tough times too.”
The insiders added Nawaz mentioned Maryam’s arrest in front of him to weaken him.
“They could have arrested Maryam Nawaz from outside but they were trying to weaken me.”
Nawaz again called Shahid his companion, saying: “Shahid Khaqan Abbasi is my close friend and has old ties with him.”
The source said Maryam Nawaz recalled her arrest saying: “Shehbaz uncle informed me that the NAB team arrived to arrest me. I told him that I was going to meet my father. I had just started talking to Nawaz Sharif when I was arrested.”
