Police officer escapes unhurt after bomb blast in DI Khan

A senior police officer escaped unhurt when a roadside bomb exploded near his vehicle on Tank Road in Dera Ismael Khan on Saturday morning, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Two jawans of the Elite Force were injured in the blast near the patrolling van of Deputy Superintendent Police (DSP) Inamullah Gandapur.
Quoting its sources, the TV channel reported that the blast took place near the DSP’s vehicle when he was heading for a search operation along with his team.
The injured personnel were shifted to hospital for treatment.
After the incident, the DSP along with a heavy contingent of police resumed their journey for carrying out a search operation.
