Rubina Ashraf says Alizeh Shah is all about makeup

On the show ‘Kya Drama Hai’ for 24NewsHD, which critiques dramas and actors on their acting skills, Pakistani veteran actress Rubina Ashraf can be seen as a critic alongside Atiqa Odho, Nadia Jamil and host Mukarram Kaleem.
While reviewing Alizeh Shah’s drama Chand Raat aur Chaandni, Rubina Ashraf gave no marks to Alizeh Shah and called her ‘zero’ because of her same looks and heavy makeup in all of the dramas.
To justify her marking she stated:
“For me, Alizeh is zero because she does not get out of this look in any play. I want her to be without makeup in one of her plays, at least one of the situations. She is all about makeup and wears it even when it is not necessary.”
Rubina further said, “Sehri main bhi wahi makeup hai jo dulhan bani hui thi tab, itni unintelligent acting ka zamana bohot pehle khatam ho gaya tha (She wears the same makeup in the morning as she does when she plays the role of the bride. Gone are the days when such unintelligent acting was acceptable).”
Mukarram Kaleem, the host, lost his calm during the show and stepped in to defend Alizeh Shah. Thus, both of the critics landed into an argument.
In the end, Rubina Ashraf advised Mukarram Kaleem not to take criticism personally because it was only directed at Alizeh’s acting skills and her appearances in the dramas.
