Pakistani actor Usman Mukhtar’s wife Zunaira Inam Khan is quite active on social media and always shares her opinions on different matters.
This time, she has talked about the nature of designer lawns which every woman wants to say as it become very crucial for the ladies now.
She highlighted that people used to love the lawn because it is lightweight and people in summer want lightweight clothes to breathe easily but that is not the case anymore.
Here are the exact words stated by the lady:
“Do desi designers even remember the purpose of lawn anymore? We want light thanday kapray in summer. Not these overly embroidered, organza dupatta with border, 15 different pieces to attach, jigsaw puzzle monstrosities that we’re being sold now. End the madness.”

Further, she stated, “Designer lawn is now just mental. Even designers who were staying away from this embroidery explosion have now joined the club, using their exact bridal embroideries and designs in lawn and thread work.
I get it that they’re aiming for semi-formal wear, but what about people who just liked the ease of pre-designed Joras rather than going through the hassle of lace, buttons, etc. etc. Readymade doesn’t fill that void.
Actress Hira Khan agreed with Zunaira's statement and wrote, "25k for a lawn is nothing but insanity."

Here are the user’s reactions:
The Summer season is around the corner which means the lawn season is on in Pakistan.
The lawn has become an important part of the fashion industry in Pakistan. Each year we get to see all the designers coming up with heavy lawn joras consisting of embroideries, applique, and heavy dupattas.
Lawns are also getting expensive day by day and they are no less than custom designer joras rather than simple lawns which used to arrive every season.
The Lawn 2024 is also here and we got to see some intricate designs this time.
