Punjab University employees continued to protest on the second day over delays in salaries and non-payment of allowances, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
The faculty members disconnected the electricity of the Vice Chancellor's office, admin block registrar office, controller office, and treasurer's office.
The employees staged a protest outside the vice chancellor's office as well as locked all the offices.
The employees raised slogans against the university administration and demanded timely payment of salaries.
Moreover, the staff also demanded overtime payment, permanence of regular employees, and timely promotions on vacant posts.
