Addressing the country’s politicians, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said Saturday that they were only worried about general elections, while on the other hand, the state’s existence was in jeopardy, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Addressing the party’s social media convention in Peshawar, he said the nation should realize that the country was confronting serious issues which were getting complicated by the day.

He said the challenges were both from within and outside the country.

He added that those people who had served the interests of the British prior to the partition of the sub-continent were given respect in the country.

“But we remain opposed to such servitude,” he asserted.

Fazl further said the people’s trust in the establishment as well as in bureaucracy was eroding.

He went on to say that it was the JUI-F that brought all political parties on one platform.

JUI-F chief said that the party never used abusive language against its any opponent.

He regretted that despite the fact that the country produced electricity, still it was getting expensive day by day.
