Fawad Khan begins filming rom-com ‘Abir Gulaal’ with Vaani Kapoor, first look goes viral

Pakistani cinema heartthrob Fawad Khan has officially started shooting his much-anticipated Bollywood comeback, titled 'Abir Gulaal', alongside Indian star Vaani Kapoor.
A foreign-based entertainment publication 'Variety' confirmed the news on Monday morning.
As reported exclusively by the publication, the filming has commenced at different locations in and around London.
The title is directed by Aarti S. Bagdi, who said, “The film explores the journey of two individuals who unintentionally help each other heal, with love blossoming as an unexpected consequence.”
Produced by Avantika Hari, Rakesh Sippy, and Vivek B. Agrawal, the project is scheduled to continue filming in the UK in October and November. The film is expected to be released either in early 2026 or late 2025.
Additionally, rumors have it that Ridhi Dogra and Malaika Arora, two Bollywood actresses, will be joining the cast in the UK next month.
