A second FIR in Hasanabdal Police Station has been registered on Tuesday against the founder chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur and thousands of other unidentified workers, following a protest held at the Katte Pahari interchange on Motorway M1 on Oct 5.


According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the FIR was registered on the complaint of Jand Police Station SHO Sajjad Mahmood. In the FIR, 55 prominent PTI leaders, including the former Prime Minister Imran Khan, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur and 4000 workers. 


PTI founder Imran Khan's two sisters, Uzma Khan and Aleema Khan, are also among those listed in the case. Key leaders like Zain Qureshi, Shaukat Basra, Sheikh Waqas Akram, Umar Ayub, Naeem Haider Panjotha Advocate, and Salman Akram Raja Advocate have been nominated.


Several female leaders of PTI, including Sanam Javed, Suraiya Bibi, Mishal Yousafzai, Rabia Basri, and Shandana Gulzar, are also mentioned in the FIR. 


In addition, dozens of PTI MNAs and MPAs from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly are part of the case. The FIR includes 22 different charges, ranging from terrorism, robbery, and attempted murder. 


According to the text of the FIR, the accused attacked the police with sticks and stones, injuring 25 officers. The protestors also damaged police and private vehicles and seized anti-riot gear, tear gas shells, motorcycles, government wireless phones, cash, and official documents from the police officers on duty. 


The FIR further states that the accused were involved in rioting, vandalism, and chanting slogans against state institutions in an attempt to overthrow the government.


This is the second FIR filed against the same accused individuals at the same police station in connection with similar incidents.
