The government has extended an invitation to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to participate in the All-Parties Conference (APC) on Palestine, scheduled for today at the President's House.

According to 24NewsHD TV channel, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan confirmed the receipt of the official invitation.

The APC, hosted by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s administration, is being held to mark one year since the start of Israel’s ongoing war in the Gaza Strip.

The conference aims to bring together all political parties for a unified condemnation of the genocide in Gaza and to discuss the humanitarian crisis unfolding in the region.

Pakistan has been vocal on international platforms about the escalating violence in Gaza, which has claimed over 41,000 Palestinian lives, the majority being women and children.

The Pakistani government has repeatedly called for an immediate ceasefire and accountability for Israel's alleged war crimes. Pakistan, a long-time supporter of the Palestinian cause since its independence in 1947, does not recognize Israel.

The APC will be attended by key political leaders, including President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, with the objective of presenting a united front on the issue.

The government’s official press release noted that the conference is a significant step toward reaffirming Pakistan’s stance on the conflict and building national consensus on the Palestinian cause.
