Popular Pakistani actress Yashma Gill has finally resolved the mystery of quitting acting which actually erupted after her latest attendance at accomplished religious scholar Dr Zakir Naik’s soulful speech session at the Governor House Karachi where the scholar mistakenly referred to Yashma as ‘former actress.’
In case the readers are not aware, a few days ago, Dr Zakir Naik assisted Pakistani actress Yashma Gill with the concepts of 'free will' and 'predestination' at the event. Dr. Naik delivered a lecture on the theme, "What is the Purpose of Our Lives?" before initiating a question-and-answer session with attendees.
Yashma inquired Zakir about the concept of predestination, asking, "If Allah has already written a person's destiny, what free will do we have? Who is responsible for our choices between right and wrong when we believe that our fate is already determined?"
The scholar, while responding to Yashma’s question, labeled her a former actress which has caused the misunderstanding that she has quit the field.
Moving on, in the latest round of events, Yashma Gill has taken to her Instagram handle and resolved the mystery around her possible exit from acting through a detail note.
The note reads; “While speaking, I made a statement which was probably not said in the most comprehensive way and because of the noise from the crowd and the mic switching off again and agains, maybe the distortion in the beginning gave the impression that I have left the acting industry. I would like to clear any misunderstanding formed from my end as I am still acting and working and being an actress was only mentioned as my profession before going ahead with the question. I’m sure it will make a lot more sense if the whole video is watched from the start.”
