The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Thursday wrote a letter to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) about the usage of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government’s chopper on the directions of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
NAB, in the letter, said that Imran Khan’s usage of the chopper exceeded his authority and other than him, more than 40 political personnel used the chopper as well.
The accountability bureau’s board of executives referred the case to the KP government for recovery of payments from all the users.
The letter stated that the political personalities who used the chopper owe Rs96.8 million to the KP government while Imran Khan alone owes Rs63.9 million to the KP government.
NAB also demanded strict action against the facilitators who let the illegal usage of government property happen.
