PIA schedules special flights to five more countries

The PIA is expanding its special international flights to more destinations to bring back the Pakistanis stuck abroad and transport the foreigners to their home countries amid the coronavirus pandemic.
According to a PIA spokesperson, one of the flights will leave for Copenhagen, Denmark, on April 10 (Friday). On the next day (April 11), another flight leave for Baku, Azerbaijan, to ensure the return of 125 Pakistanis.
Also on April 11, a special flight will carry the Malaysian and Singaporean diplomats and citizens to Kuala Lumpur and airlift 175 Pakistanis who are stuck there at the airport for the last 16 days.
The third flight scheduled for April 11 will carry the French diplomats and citizens to Paris.
On April 12, a PIA flight will leave for Tokyo while carrying the Japanese citizens and some necessary equipment.
On April 13, the PIA will operate a flight to bring 200 Pakistanis from Bangkok.
The spokesperson has asked the intending passengers to contact the airline in case they haven’t contacted the relevant embassies.
