A couple who contracted a love marriage has approached a court in Pano Aqil of Sindh province asking for providing safety, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday. 

Reportedly, the couple Ghulam Sarwar of Sukkar and Shama of Khairpur approached a court in Pano Aqil and asked for protection.

Interestingly, Ghulam Sarwar has three children from his previous marriage and Shama has five children from her early marital contract. 

 They said their family have made their lives hell because they contracted a free-will marriage in the court of Sukkur. 

They said that after getting married, their lives are in danger, especially from their family members.  “They will be killed on the pretext of so-called honor killing (Karo Kari). 

They said they are forced to live in hiding. The couple appealed to Sukkur and Khairpur police to take notice and provide protection to them.
