Two injured as fire sweeps Lahore house

Two people including a teenaged girl received severe burn injuries when a fire broke out in their house near McLord Road in Lahore on Tuesday morning, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to rescue officials, the fire broke out on the upper floor of the house.

Rescue teams immediately reached the spot and brought the fire under control, said resue officials adding that two people were injured in the fire.

Rescue personnel gave medical aid to the injured on the spot and later shifted them to Mayo Hospital.

Malaika Akbar aged 13 years and Akbar Hussain aged 54 were suffered 30 to 40 percent burns, said the rescue officials.
