4 dacoits dead, female accomplice injured in encounter with Lahore police

Four ‘dacoits’ were killed while their female accomplice was injured reportedly in an encounter in Lahore’s Green Town area, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
SHO Green Town Khurram Shahzad and a constable, Asif, who were also injured in an exchange of fire, were taken to Jinnah Hospital.
Police said that members of the gang, clad in police uniform, had thrice looted people, drawing cash from banks in a week.
The Force further said that when a raid was conducted on a rented house in which the dacoits lived, the latter opened fire at the cops, which resulted in an encounter.
The slain dacoits had been identified as Rizwan, Ali Raza, Ali and Zain, police informed.
One of the CCTV footage of the incident showed a dacoit, wearing a helmet, and resorting to firing.
In another footage, policemen could be seen doing recce prior to an encounter. The movement of female accomplice Iqra can also been noticed.
Arrested dacoit shot dead in Chunian gunfight
A notorious dacoit was killed when his colleagues opened fire on a police vehicle near Bhar Sohadian area in the jurisdiction of Allahabad Police Station in Chunian.
A police party said that the dead dacoit was being taken to some location for recovery purpose when suddenly six to seven assailants started firing on the police van.
The dead dacoit was later identified as Khadim Hussain alias Khadi who was a resident of village Ohar Ghakkar Mandi.
He was wanted by police in 22 different cases registered against him in different police stations of Vehari District Kasur and Okara.
In exchange of firing, police van was partially damaged in exchange of firing while police party also shot some fires in retaliation.
District Police Officer (DPO) Mohammad Esa Khan constituted different police team for arrest of dacoits.
He also lauded the bravery of SHO Shaikh Ijaz who shoed outstanding performance during this encounter.
