August 9, 2020 01:59 PM

It is not a movie scene as it really happened on Gujranwala streets on a daily basis. Police Chowki in-charge in Gujranwala City has given a free hand to one of his special volunteers Ijaz aka Commando who routinely patrols streets in a drunken condition, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

Commando in full police uniform with an official rifle on his shoulder roams freely in streets with his main stay at Alam Chowk where residents have expressed fears that the tipsy policeman may cause an unpleasant incident.

The TV channel reported that the residents demanded of Gujranwala CPO Rai Babar Saeed to take notice of the public law violation and take strict action against the policeman, who is always found under alcohol influence, and also against those policemen who are providing uniforms and government weapons to the volunteers.
