Sialkot lynching is against Islam, says Parvez Elahi

Punjab Acting Governor Ch Parvez Elahi has said the Sialkot lynching is against Islam and such acts are just a bid to damage Pakistan’s image.
He was talking to a delegation comprising Dr Hafiz Abdul Rehman Madni, Mian Muhammad Ahsan, Anwar Ahmad Khan, Dr Hafiz Hamza Madni and Dr Ansar Madni who called on him at the Governor House Thursday.
The acting governor gave the visiting dignitaries a frame of holy words prepared regarding Khatam-e-Nubawwat and prominently displayed in all government offices.
Dr Hafiz Abdul Rehman Madni said that it is a great achievement to include the oath of Khatam-e-Nubawwat in the marriage certificate. He heaped praise on Parvez Elahi for his valuable services for the public and promotion of Islamic norms.
Separately, Ch Parvez Elahi felicitate the newly-elected office-bearers of Electronic Media Reporters Association (EMRA). He expressed the hope that new body will work for making EMRA more effective platform so that the problems being faced by the journalists could be fixed at the earliest.
