Former federal information minister and PML-N leader Marriyum Aurangzeb has lashed out at former prime minister and ex-PTI chairman Imran Khan, dubbing him a robber, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The former minister was talking to the media outside an anti-terrorism court where she came to attend the hearing of a case against her on Saturday.

She alleged that the ex-PTI chief was the mastermind of the terrorism incidents. “The one who calls others terrorists is himself the criminal of May 9,” she took a dig at the former PTI chief.

Ms Aurangzeb said that a case of terrorism was made against her when they told that ex-PTI chairman was coming to attack the state. Those who burned the Jinnah House and martyrs' memorials must be held accountable, she demanded.

The PML-N leader said mockingly that Imran Khan who used to call others ‘thieves’ turned out to be the biggest ‘thief of the country’s history. He robbed the national exchequer of 190 million pounds.

She proclaimed that the former PTI chief is the trustee of Al-Qadir Trust.

She said that the nation wanted accountability of Imran Khan who committed Rs60 billion corruption.

On Imran’s London plan rhetoric, Ms Aurangzeb retorted that the London plan stipulated digging graves in the D Chowk.

While talking to the media, the senior leader of Muslim League-N, Javed Latif, said that there are cases of treason against those who used to talk about the constitution.

He said the court would hear the case of judicial killing of former premier Zulfikar Ali Bhutto after 45 years. He wondered whether Nawaz Sharif would have to wait for another 45 years for justice.

Arrest warrants cancelled

Earlier, an anti-terrorism court in Lahore cancelled the arrest warrants issued for former information minister and PML-N leader Marriyum Aurangzeb in an anti-state speeches case after she appeared before the court.

ATC Judge Abhar Gul Khan conducted the case proceedings.

During the previous hearing, the court issued non-bailable arrest warrants for PML-N leader Ms Aurangzeb after she failed to show up during the last two hearings of the case.

Today, she and another PML-N leader Mian Javed Latif (who was also nominated in the same case of delivering anti-state speeches during a presser) appeared in the court and marked their attendance.

After that, the judge cancelled Ms Aurangzeb’s warrants.
