Punjab CM irked by delay in completion of Shahdara bridge project

Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited Shahdara and reviewdd progress on construction work of Emamiya Colony Bridge Project last night, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
During his visit, Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi expressed concern over the possible delay in the completion of the project.
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi emphasized on ensuring timely completion of Emamiya Colony Bridge.
The Prime Minister had announced the completion of the project on December 15, the delay is a matter of concern, said Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
He said that people are facing difficulties due to the construction activities of Emamiya Colony Overhead Bridge Project and traffic is also affected.
Talking to media after reviewing the project the CM said that Emamiya Colony Overhead Bridge is a big project of Federal Govt.
I am informing the Prime Minister about the delay in the project, said Mohsen Naqvi.
He said that the Prime Minister himself came to Emamiya Colony and announced the completion of the term.
The Prime Minister has to update about the completion of the project, the CM said.
Muhsin Naqvi said that being a federal government project, they cannot interfere much but Ghora Chowk project will be completed in time.
The Punjab CM said that air pollution due to smog is a concern.
Next week will be difficult, because of children's papers they can't even close schools and the routine of educational institutions will remain intact on Saturday, Mohsen Naqvi.
Answering a question the CM said that meeting with investors in Qatar was beneficial.
There will be many good news, I have already said that Pakistan is in a position to take off, said Mohsen Naqvi.
NLC Project Manager Colonel Zafarul Hasan gave briefing to Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Imamiya Colony Project.
Provincial Ministers Aamir Mir, Azfar Ali Nasir, Secretary Housing, DG LDA, Deputy Commissioner, NLC officials, NLC’s Samiullah Chatta and other relevant officials were also present.
