Paracetamol prices to be increased, summary prepared for approval

Summary for an increase in prices of Paracetamol syrup and tablets Thursday prepared by the Health Ministry and will be presented to Economic Coordination Committee for approval, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In the summary, an increase of Rs12.18 in the Paracetamol syrup was advised which would raise the price from Rs104.82 to Rs117.
The price of 500mg Paracetamol tablet was advised to be increased by Rs80 in the summary as the Manufacturers demanded a price hike.
The Drug Processing Committee of the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) recommended the increase in prices.
