Punjab CM shares grief of Neelum river jeep tragedy victims

Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi met the relatives of the youth who died in the Neelum River jeep tragedy, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Thursday.
The relatives of Muhammad Fahad, Moin Ali and Muhammad Hasnain who sustained injuries in the tragedy were also present.
The chief minister expressed his sympathies with the bereaved families and announced Rs1.5 million in aid for each victim’s family.
He prayed the Almighty may rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss with fortitude.
All our sympathies are with the bereaved families and the Punjab government is with them, he added.
The CM vowed to provide the families of the injured with all-out support. He also prayed for early recovery of the injured and assured their relatives of providing the best medical facilities to the wounded.
Health Minister Dr Javed Akram will personally monitor the treatment, he told the victims' families.
Rescue 1122 team worked day and night to search for dead bodies, he added. Info minister Aamir Mir and senior officials were also present on this occasion.
