Lahore admin rejects PTI request to hold public meeting on June 9

Lahore Deputy Commissioner Rafia Haider has rejected the request of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to hold a public gathering at the Mochi Gate area of the Punjab capital, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

PTI Punjab leadership has sought permission from the district administration to hold the public gathering at Mochi Gate in Lahore on June 9.

The Lahore district administration refused to allow the Mochi Gate rally on the report of the District Intelligence Committee.

The administration claimed that the permission of the meeting was not given for security reasons.
