Two terrorists belonging to Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were gunned down in a joint operation of the security forces in Malakand, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The operation was carried out by a joint team of the police and security forces in which three of the security personnel were also injured.

According to a statement issued by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Counter Terrorism Department on Sunday, a large cache of weapons and cartridges were also seized from the hideout of the dead terrorists.

The CTD said the dead terrorists were in contact with their operatives in Afghanistan.
