KP CM Ali Amin Gandapur has threatened to storm Islamabad if the federal capital police chief is not removed.
“If the Islamabad IG is not removed, we will attack Islamabad to remove him,” the KP CM said, adding that they will free all the ‘arrested workers’.
He came down hard on media persons for what he called misreporting about his disappearance for hours. “Paid journalists are misrepresenting it (disappearance),” he added.
He narrated his story of reappearance, claiming that he travelled through many districts, including Nowshera, Charsadda, and Swat to reach Peshawar.
He added “I disappeared four hours and those people kept looking for me,”
“All private and government vehicles were taken, tyres vehicles were torn. I have a refuelling receipt too.”
He swiped at the government for what he called stopping the PTI protest rally and failing to deliver.
He claimed Haripur DPO told him that he has children and, he was afraid
Gandapur said: “The PTI founder has clearly said that there is no fight with our army and no anti-army agenda.”
Ali Amin Gandapur made a dramatic appearance in Sunday's emergency session after remaining missing for more than 24 hours.
Gandapur was last seen leading a convoy of PTI protestors into Islamabad on October 5 and was reportedly near China Chowk when he disappeared.
The mystery surrounding his absence sparked widespread concern, prompting the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Assembly to pass an urgent resolution demanding his immediate release.
Provincial Law Minister Aftab Alam tabled the resolution, which condemned the recent raid on Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa House in Islamabad and the violent incidents that ensued.
