Universities banned from commercial display of posters, flexes, hoardings

Punjab government has banned fixing of posters, flexes and hoardings in all the universities of the province with immediate effect, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
According to a notification issued by Directorate-General Public Relations (DGPR) to all the vice-chancellors (VCs) of the varsities in which the Punjab government urged them to use digital screen for outside advertising.
The DGPR further stated that this ban will help to improve environmental conditions while an attractive advertisement campaign will function smoothly on digital screen in the varisities.
