KP govt to compensate Mohmand mine collapse victims: Yousafzai

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Labour Shaukat Yousafzai has said that provincial government has decided to probe into the marble mine collapse incident in Ziarat area of District Mohmand.

He stated this while speaking during his visit to review rescue operations on the site of the incident on Wednesday.

Shaukat Yousafzai assured that the provincial government will utilize all available resources to compensate the families of victims of the marble mine cave-in.

On the occasion, the provincial minister also announced a compensation package for the dead labourers and free treatment for the injured.
