The visually-impaired people have been standing firm for their livelihood for the past four days, 24NewsHD TV channel reported Thursday.
The sit-in, staged by the special people at Club Chowk, after having held demos on different streets of the Punjab capital, continued for the fourth day.
The protesters demanded the quota for the appointment of government employees should be increased from 3 percent to 6 percent.
As many as 150 visually-impaired work-charged employees have been staging a protest to press for their demands for proper jobs. The venue has been closed for traffic by installing barriers on all sides, triggering traffic trouble from Canal Road to The Mall.
