A man stabbed the eye of another man for occupying the loo facility of a mosque for ‘too long’ in the Shah Latif area of Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
In the bizarre incident, a man pierced the eye of another man for taking so long in the toilet of the mosque situated in Hasan Pinhor Goth.
The injured man lodged a complaint against his attacker with the Shah Latif police station.
According to the FIR, Anwar said that he felt abdominal pain when he was on his way back home after work. He said he went inside a nearby mosque and used its toilet. When he came out of the loo, accused Hayatullah started beating him.
Anwar explained to him that he used the toilet because he was feeling pain in his stomach. But the enraged Hayatullah stuck an iron rod in his eye, injuring him severely. The blood started oozing out of his eye and he ran towards his home. But he fell unconscious on the road due to excessive loss of blood. He said his neighbours saw him lying unresponsive on the road and took him to a nearby hospital.
He demanded legal action against accused Hayatullah and Saleem.
