Engine derails at Rawalpindi Railway Station

An engine went off the track at the Rawalpindi Railway Station due overspeeding on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

However, there was no loss of life. Technical staff was summoned to clear the track for traffic.

The engine was called from loco shed to move the Green Line train from Rawalpindi.

The Green Line train was to be moved to Margalla station by the engine.

The engine derailed from track four of platform number two due to high speed.

However, the Green Line train was dispatched to Margalla station by a new engine.
