SHO Amir Shahzad Bhader, who was the complainant of a case registered against the assassination attempt on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan, died of a 'heart attack' on Sunday, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.

Amir Shahzad was the SHO of Saddar Wazirabad police station when a case of attempted murder on former prime minister Imran was registered in the City Wazirabad police station on the statement of the late Amir Shehzad.

Imran and several other PTI leaders were injured after an attacker opened fire near the PTI reception camp at Allahwala Chowk during the party’s long march on Nov 3, 2022. 

 Family sources said Aamir Shahzad Bhader was taken to the hospital Friday's night after his health worsened. Later, Aamir Shahzad lost his life due to a heart attack.

The deceased was currently serving as the SHO Sadar Wazirabad.
