Lahore Board ends supplementary exams for failed students

Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore ended the supplementary examination system for failed students in different subjects from the current educational year 2022.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the Lahore Board has introduced a system of first annual examination and second annual examination against the supplementary examinations.

The channel reported on Wednesday that after adopting the new system of first and second exams, there will be no matriculation and intermediate supplementary examination this year.

The first annual examination will be held every year as per the schedule and the second annual exam will be conducted after six months.

Students who have failed four subjects will be able to give papers in the first annual and second annual examinations and it is mandatory to pass the supplementary examination within three years.
