Woman among six people injured in Khuzdar explosion

An explosion ripped through Azadi Chowk, Khuzdar in Balochistan on Wednesday injuring six people including a woman, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Forces and Rescue teams reached the venue soon after the blast.
According to rescue officials, the injured were shifted to the hospital where condition of two people was stated to be critical.
Police said they could not say anything about the nature of the blast as investigations were underway.
Police gun down two terrorists in DIK trade of fire
Meanwhile, two terrorists on Wednesday were gunned down in a trade of fire between the police forces and miscreants in Dera Ismail Khan.
DPO Najmul Hasnain Liaquat said that a shootout was held between the police security forces and terrorists in Kari Malang area of DIK. As a result, two miscreants identified as Abdul Rehman and Mir Zaman were killed and police recovered a hand grenade and other weapons from their possession.
The police officer said that earlier in the day at 7am, the police mobile was hit by a remote-controlled blast near Kalachi Road in which a police official was hurt.
After this incident, the second police mobile was ambushed by terrorists who were hiding in the bushes in Kari Malang. They opened fire on police mobile which also retaliated and gunned down two of their accomplices.
