COAS commends offensive spirit of Strike Corps, combat proficiency of artillery gunners

Chief of the Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir has commended the offensive spirit of the Pakistan Army’s Strike Corps and combat proficiency of the artillery gunners, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to a statement issued by the ISPR, General Asim Munir visited the Tilla Field Firing Ranges near Jhelum on Wednesday and witnessed the live fire and manoeuvres of the advanced VT-4 tanks, shoot-and-scoot capabilities of long-range SH-15 artillery guns and innovative equipment display.
The Army Chief appreciated the combat proficiency of the crews and their mastery over the state-of-the-art weaponry.
The COAS remarked “Pakistan Army was alive to the existing and emerging challenges and possessed the wherewithal to thwart nefarious designs of its adversaries through the entire gamut of threat.”
General Asim Munir appreciated the high degree of professionalism, battle-worthiness and offensive spirit displayed by the troops of the Strike Corps.
Earlier on arrival, the COAS was received by Commander Mangla Corps and was briefed on operational readiness of the Strike Corps.
