DJ Butt on Thursday narrated the story of how he was arrested and treated afterwards, saying Prime Minister Imran Khan had repeatedly talked about police reforms but he did not see anything, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

“I was strangled, I was dragged out of office,” DJ Butt told media persons after getting bail from a local court in Lahore.

He had been imprisoned as if he was a big terrorist, he remarked and added that the treatment meted out to him was worst then the past.

The comments came as DJ Butt was arrested in the past as well when he provided services to the PTI during the 2014 sit-in.

About the future prospects, he said the PDM did not contact him for the December 13 rally, but he would work for anyone with a good offer.

Earlier, a judicial magistrate granted bail to DJ Butt who was arrested from his office located at Model Town the other day.

DJ Butt, whose real name is Asif Butt, has been arranging sound system for the PDM rallies in recent weeks.

Reacting to the news, PML-N MPA Hina Pervaiz Butt congratulated Prime Minister Imran for another humiliation.

Also on Thursday, PML-N Spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb told media that “Imran Khan is in competition with DJ Butt, not PDM.”

Blasting the government with a special reference to the arrest of DJ Butt, Marriyum said the country’s prime minister was busy in fighting those supplying chairs and sound system to the opposition.

In a related development, Gujranwala police have raided the house of DJ Butt's friend in the city, DJ Maalik, and seized the sound system equipment he wanted to take to Lahore for the PDM rally.
