Demo in Brussels for Kashmiris rights to self-determination

The EU-Pakistan Friendship Federation Europe and the Pashtun Organisation Belgium (POB) jointly organised a protest in Brussels against Indian atrocities in Kashmir.
The protest was held on the eve of International Human Rights Day (December 10). The day also marks the first anniversary of the EU Disinfo Lab report, which highlighted the Indian propaganda campaign against Pakistan.
A large number of expats took part in the protest, led by the federation chairman, Chaudhry Pervez Iqbal, and the Pashtun Organisation’s Naveed Akhtar.

Pervez Iqbal condemned human rights violations by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government. The protesters were carrying placards against inscribed with slogans against Indian atrocities in illegally occupied valley.
Chairman Iqbal and other participants urged the international community to play its role in resolving the dispute in accordance with UN resolutions. Demonstrators also demanded an investigation into the misinformation report and a ban on think-tanks and NGOs named in it.
