Customs Intelligence foils smuggling attempt in Quetta

Customs intelligence personnel Saturday foiled an attempt to smuggle foreign goods worth Rs 50 million into Punjab from Quetta, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The officials intercepted a truck at Bostan and recovered various items, including tires, vehicle wheels, tea leaves, Iranian tiles, foreign cloth, milk powder and plastic shoppers.
The officials said the action was taken on the basis of secret information and the local police fully supported them in the operation. They added that operations against smuggling will continue despite less manpower.
