Shehbaz to return ‘in next few days’

PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif had a meeting with former prime minister Nawaz Sharif at his residence in London on Monday and the two brothers discussed the national political situation in detail.

According to reports, Shehbaz has decided to return home and he will land in Pakistan in the next few days.

Shehbaz had accompanied Nawaz to London in November last year after the court allowed the latter to travel abroad for his medical treatment. Nawaz was released on bail when he was serving a seven-year imprisonment in a corruption case.

Many in the ruling PTI were of the view that Shehbaz will not return to Pakistan. At the same time, there are reports that Shehbaz is preparing for a key role in the national politics after his successful talks with the powers that be.
