Dr. Amir Ahmed Sheikh replaced with Sohail Tajic as IG Azad Kashmir

The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) government on Tuesday removed Dr. Amir Ahmed Sheikh from the slot of Inspector General Police, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
Replacing the outgoing IGP, Sohail Habib Tajik has been appointed as the new IGP for AJK.
Before this, Sohail Habib Tajik had previously served as the IGP in AJK.
Tajik is a grade of 21 officer in the Police Service of Pakistan.
His reappointment as the IGP reflects the government's confidence in his capabilities to lead the police force in the region.
The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has given his approval for the appointment of Sohail Habib Tajik as the new IGP.
The Establishment Division Islamabad issued an official notification regarding the appointment on Tuesday.
