Pakistani Ambassador for Kabul Ubaid Ur Rehman Nizamani Tuesday hosted a dinner in honor of Maulana Fazlur Rehman who is presently touring Afghanistan, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
The ambassador welcomed the guest at the Pakistani Embassy in Kabul.
The meeting was orchestrated to discuss and evaluate the current diplomatic landscape, particularly in the context of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
During the gathering, Ambassador Nizamani briefed Maulana Fazlur Rehman on the prevailing diplomatic situation, highlighting key aspects relevant to both nations.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman, in turn, expressed his appreciation for the services rendered by the Pakistani ambassador and the dedicated embassy staff.
The discussions further delved into the critical importance of Maulana Fazlur Rehman's visit to Afghanistan, a sentiment echoed by Ambassador Nizamani.
He appreciated Maulana for his engagements with the Prime Minister of Afghanistan and other dignitaries, fostering a constructive dialogue.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman emphasized the necessity for a strong and amicable relationship between the two nations, underlining the shared cultural and historical ties that bind the Muslim brotherhood countries.
The Maulana led a delegation comprising prominent figures such as Maulana Sheikh Idris, Maulana Abdul Wasi, Maulana Salahuddin Ayyubi, Maulana Ata-ul-Haq Darwish, Maulana Imdadullah, and Mufti Abrar Ahmed.
The delegation also included Maulana Jamaluddin, Fazlur Rehman Khalil, Maulana Abdul Rasheed, Salimuddin Shamzai, Misbahullah, and Hafiz Yusuf.
