First PIA flight arrives in Paris from Islamabad after 4-year hiatus

The first flight of the Pakistan Airlines International (PIA) arrived in Paris from Islamabad on Friday after a long break of four and a half years.

The PIA flight PK 749 carrying 317 passengers took eight hours to reach Paris from Islamabad. PIA is now operating two flights from Islamabad to Paris every week.

A PIA spokesperson said there was a huge demand for the direct flights from Europe to Pakistan and this fact was evident from the attention the Islamabad-Paris flight has grabbed.
