Entire ‘garbage’ to be cleared in four months: Sheikh Rashid
Again sees a Tarzan-like NAB: Says there won’t be any APC as Shehbaz and he are from the same party

The entire “garbage” would be cleared in the next four months, said Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid on Friday, adding that the latest decision issued by Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed was going to change the country’s destiny.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, the federal minister again used the word Tarzan to describe the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). The month of July is very important during which the NAB would get the Tarzan-like powers, he said.
He was referring to the orders passed by the chief justice on Thursday, directing the government to establish 120 new accountability courts in the country.
About the planned All Parties Conference (APC) by the opposition parties, Rashid predicted that there would be no such meeting. PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif won’t convene the APC, he said and added that Shehbaz would do what he [Rashid] was doing as both of them belonged to the same party.
The railway minister never hesitates to make predictions and claims to be very close to the decision-making circles.
Last week, he had said that they [the government] was neither the last choice nor minus but warned that there would be “minus three” in case of any minus one.
Rashid told media persons in Lahore that the opposition was incompetent and could not harm Prime Minister Imran Khan. The people should pay attention to his earlier repeated assertion that Shehbaz Sharif and he were from the same party, he remarked.
He said the PML-Q would never join the hands with the PML-N but asked the ruling party members not to wash their dirty linen on TV [in public]. “I can only request them, I have no power to force them,” remarked the federal minister.
Rashid had first used the word Tarzan for NAB in early May when he said that the anti-graft body would become Tarzan after Eidul Fitr and won’t spare anyone.
