Hafiz Hussain Ahmad, a spokesperson for Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), has termed ‘half-truth’ the revelations made by ex-PM Chaudhry Shujaat Hussaain abut the Fazlur Rehman-led sit-in in Islamabad against the Prime Minister Imran Khan-led government.

In a statement on Friday, Hafiz Hussain demanded Shujaat Hussain speak the ‘whole truth’.

“He (Shujaat Hussain) should not make us break the silence by narrating one-side of the story. What would be our side of the story? The public should be aware of what the JUI-F entrusted to the Chaudhry brothers after holding talks during the sit-in,” the JUI-F leader said.

He claimed that the opposition leaders showed support to the JUI-F half-heartedly and after talks with the Chaudhry brothers, they opted for further distance.
