ECP disposes of assets discrepancies case against Bilawal

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has disposed of a case against Bilawal Bhutto Zardari regarding discrepancies in financial statements, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Bilawal's lawyer Farooq H Naik informed the media outside the Election Commission in Islamabad on Wednesday.

A four-member bench headed by Election Commission of Pakistan Punjab Member Altaf Ibrahim Qureshi conducted the hearing of the case regarding discrepancies in the financial statements of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari submitted in the Election Commission.

Bilawal's lawyer Farooq Naik appeared before the Election Commission and submitted a report to the ECP by the Political Finance Cell of the Election Commission in which it was said that all the contradictions in the reply submitted by Bilawal were removed and now all statements have been provided.

Bilawal’s lawyer said that PPP chairman’s assets were objected to by the Election Commission and ECP has accepted a report that has been submitted to the Election Commission of Pakistan.

The ECP settled the case against Bilawal over the discrepancies in financial statements, Farooq H Naik added.
