Security tight as govt employees protest in front of parliament

The government employees continued their protest for the acceptance of their demands in front of Parliament House ahead of presentation of the federal budget for 2022-23 in the National Assembly today, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to reports, the main iron gates of the Parliament House have been closed in view of government employees’ protest. 

A large contingent of Frontier Corps and police officials has been deployed there. The FC officials would perform duties on the front line while Islamabad police would back them from the rear.

The administration has chalked out a strategy to deal with the protesting government employees who are staging a protest for the acceptance of their demands. 

A large number of Rangers officials have also been deployed around the place.

The government employees will hold a march from the Finance Ministry to the Parliament House today. 

They protesters spent last night in front of Finance Ministry building. 

The government employees’ federation has given a call of protest to all government employees across the country.
