PM discusses political situation, development projects with Punjab ministers

Prime Minister Imran Khan Thursday said in first time of the Punjab’s history the development projects were initiated in whole the province.

He was talking to provincial minister Sardar Asif Nakai and Samsam Bukhari.

PM said the development work was limited to some specific cities only in the past and the PTI government was first that initiated the development works across the province.

He said the development of neglected and underdeveloped cities was the top priority of the government.

PM also discussed the prevailing political situation in the province and the ministers also briefed the PM regarding working of the development projects in their respective ministries.

PM Khan is in Lahore in wake of the volatile political situation amid the no-confidence motion in the Centre and visible differences within the PTI rank with more than one group are active in Punjab o dethrone Punjab chief minister Usman Buzdar.

The most prominent one is the JKT group and earlier Thursday, Provincial Minister for Communications Sardar Asif Nikai and MPA Rafaqat Ali Gilani had also formally joined the JKT group last Monday.
