Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani Monday sent a letter to the parliamentary leaders of the United States (US), United Kingdom (UK), and other countries to take notice of the Israeli attack on Al-Aqsa Mosque.
According to 24NewsHD TV Channel, Sanjrani expressing his concerns over the violence of Israeli troops against Palestinian civilians in the Mosque declared it against human values and international laws.
The letter addressing the international parliamentary leaders read, “Expressing the sentiments of the Pakistani people, I would like to draw your attention to the recent attack on Muslims offering prayer in Al-Aqsa Mosque”.
“Al-Aqsa Mosque is a holy place for Muslims around the world and the Israeli forces attack on prayers during Ramadan violates human rights and international humanitarian laws”, the letter read.
It further said, “Oppression and barbarism on prayers in Al-Aqsa Mosque is not only reprehensible but also unacceptable to any religion,” adding, “Leaders of the parliament should condemn this cruel act of Israel and play their role in ending human rights violations in Palestine.”
